Electrical Project in Austin, TX

GBI's Austin Electrical Division recently completed a marquee project focused on serving the local Austin community.

GBI was contracted by Raymond Construction to help build a project for the Austin Lighthouse Travis Associciation for the Blind (TAB).  This is a 450,000 square foot facility that will provide training and employment for the blind or vision impaired.  TAB needed this new facility to keep up with the rapid growth in the city of Austin and the needs of its constituants.

This is a large scale new construction ground up building where GBI is providing all aspects of the Electrical Systems and Raceways for Data, Security and Fire Alarm.  Travis O'Neal, GBI's South Regional Manager, stated about the project, "It has been satisfying to see an empty field transformed over time to a large scale warehouse and manufacturing facility that will be doing so much good in our community."

It should also be noted that Raymond Construction is a long time and repeat customer over the years.  Completing the job on-time with the highest standards of quality is what Raymond has come to expect from GBI, and this project has proved no different.

Congratulations on a great project, and a big THANKS to the entire Austin team!
