GBI's Human Resources ("HR") Department is located at our Kaysville, UT office and is led by Marjory Howes, Vice President of HR, who has worked at GBI for 10 years. Tiffany Knight is the corporate HR Coordinator and has worked at GBI for 2 years. Both Marjory and Tiffany completed college degrees (Marjory in Communications; Tiffany in Human Resource Management).
GBI’s Tank and plate steel construction group is based in Kaysville, UT and led by Jeff Reading, Vice President. The group includes (3) Project Managers; (13) Superintendents; (1) administrator and more than 75 welders, fitters and laborers currently working on (10) different projects in (6) different states. Since our founding in 2007, we have completed more than (400) different customer projects across (24) different states and Canada.
The GBI Rail Road Division was started in 2014. Bill Stout, the Division Manager, has vast industry experience that is invaluable to our customers and their rail needs.
GBI started work at several customer locations throughout west Texas last fall, and were finally able to move into a new office in mid-January 2019. A big “hats off” to our team who had operated for several months in temporary offices as we started up. Customer demand for safely performed and quality industrial construction and maintenance is in high demand throughout the Permian Basin.
GBI started an office in Carlsbad, New Mexico earlier this year to serve the Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) needs of customers operating in the large and growing Permian Basin. Since that time, GBI has added 60 employees (10 office / 50 field). In fact, we grew so rapidly, that we already had to find a new and larger location to which we will move in October.
GBI’s fabrication and machining facilities are located conveniently off the I-15 freeway in Plymouth, Utah, just south of the Idaho border. We currently employ 42 employees, operating on 30+ acres with more than 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space. We have the ability to fabricate and paint a wide variety of steel tanks, vessels, pipe, nozzles, appurtenances and railing.
In May of 2015, GBI joined with Travis O’Neal and his team to start a commercial electric business serving the greater Austin, Texas region.
